Meetup: Cambridge .NET User Group
GridGain technology evangelist Akmal Chaudhri will speak at the Cambridge .NET User Group Sept. 18. The title of his talk: "Scale Out and Conquer: Apache Ignite for .NET Users."
Meetup Details
This presentation will provide a deep dive into .NET features of Apache® Ignite™. Apache Ignite is the memory-centric platform that combines distributed SQL database and key-value data grid, that is ACID compliant, horizontally scalable and highly available, and empowered with compute and machine learning capabilities. The memory-centric platforms slides between applications and various data sources and provides ultimate performance and scalability to the applications or it can be used as a standalone distributed storage and computational platform.
Organizers of the Cambridge .NET User Group said, "Apache Ignite is the first general purpose in-memory computing platform in the Apache Software Foundation family. We believe it will have the same effect on Fast Data processing as Hadoop has on Big Data processing. Better understanding of inner details behind Apache Ignite will encourage more companies and individual committers to join the project."
