The length of time interval is configured via PersistentStoreConfiguration.setRateTimeInterval(long) configurartion property. The number of subintervals is configured via PersistentStoreConfiguration.setSubIntervals(int) configuration property.

Gets the average number of bytes per second written during the last time interval. The length of time interval is configured via PersistentStoreConfiguration.setRateTimeInterval(long) configurartion property.
